Patients on Pregabalin and Gabapentin


As from now, Pregabalin and Gabapentin are being classed as controlled drugs. This means that:


1. Prescriptions will not be able to be sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy



  • 2.  Prescriptions have to be collected from the surgery as they require a signature by the patient, a relative or a pharmacy

  • Maximum quantity allowed to be issued is 28 Days


If you feel you may want to reduce or stop either of these medications please make an appointment at the surgery to discuss with one of the Practice Pharmacists.

Test Results

Test Results

Please call between 9:30am and 1:00pm to enquire about your test results as our reception staff will have more time to deal with your request between these times.

Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.

When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice.

It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.

The results of pregnancy tests will only be given to the patient personally in surgery. We do not give the results out over the telephone.
